1066 brought to life in France trip

Collage 2017-05-22 10_30_4835 students are took part in a trip to Normandy and Disneyland Paris in a trip which had many new learning opportunities.

The historical context from the Norman conquest in 1066 was brought to life by the Bayeux Tapestry in Bayeux, The American memorial and cemetery at Omaha Beach which commemorates the loss of American life during the D-day landings in 1944 and visiting Mulberry Harbour were the skeletal infrastructure of this key location is sill visible in the English channel.

This was followed by a day in Disneyland Paris, where the students had the chance to explore and enjoy the famous attractions.
