This week, our Year 10 students completed their three days of Mock Exams, while our KS3 pupils finished their BASE assessments. It has been a focused and purposeful few days across the school, and we are incredibly proud of the commitment shown by all students.
Throughout the exam period, students demonstrated resilience, determination, and a positive attitude towards their learning. Sitting exams can be challenging, but our students approached each day with focus and maturity, giving their best effort in every paper. That dedication is something to be celebrated.
Now that assessments have come to an end, it is important to recognise the hard work that has gone into preparation and performance. These experiences are valuable stepping stones in each student’s learning journey, helping to build confidence and develop important skills for the future.
As we move through the term, we continue to emphasise the importance of strong attendance. Being in school every day supports progress, builds routine and ensures students do not miss key learning opportunities. Our attendance initiative is still underway, and we encourage all students to keep striving for 100% attendance.
As highlighted in our current campaign, students who achieve 100% attendance for the whole term will be rewarded with a well-deserved treat at the end… an ice cream 🍦 A simple but motivating reward for consistent effort and commitment.
Well done to all students for completing their assessments. Keep up the excellent work, stay focused, and continue to attend every day.
