On Tuesday 1st April saw the first North Solihull Cheerleading showcase, whereby 8 local primary schools came together to showcase their cheerleading routines at Smith’s Wood Academy. This event was the first of its kind in North Solihull, and was supported by 12 fantastic leaders who were great ambassadors of the Academy. They showed excellent leadership skills in teaching the younger students from the community a routine which they had learnt the previous week. The leaders were described by a feeder school as ‘amazing sport leaders’ and they truly showed off the values of the Academy of resilience, respect and Ambition.
