Smith’s Wood Community Christmas Lights Switch-On Shines Bright with the Smith’s Wood Academy School Choir in support
Our community gathered together on Friday 28th November for it’s very first Christmas Lights Switch-On – and the Smith’s Wood Academy school choir helped make it a truly special event.
It was a great turnout with families, neighbours, and friends gathering in Burton Way to see the lights being switched on. After the big moment our talented choir performed two Christmas songs to get everyone into the festive spirit.
It was a wonderful event, and the Parish Council did the community proud. The pride on our students’ faces and the faces of their local community made the moment even more special.
A huge thank-you to our choir members for representing our school so brilliantly, and to all the families who came out to support the event. 🎶💫
